Pratt Athletics announces new website, social media sites
BROOKLYN -- GoPrattGo.com, the new and official Pratt Institute Athletics and Recreation website, launched on Friday, February 1, 2013.
Easier navigation, more detailed team information, game recaps, video highlights, stats, schedules, photos, player biographies and a social media hub are among the new additions to the site, which is hosted by PrestoSports, one of the premier names in college sports information.
Additionally, Pratt Athletics on Friday will launch its new Facebook, Twitter and YouTube pages, all with the monikor GoPrattGo.
The Cannoneers new online home marks an upgrade in terms of content and media. Team and player video and photo galleries will be available for fans to better know Pratt student-athletes and teams. Every student-athlete from all of Pratt’s 10 intercollegiate athletic teams will have a player profile accessible from the team roster page. Team and player stats will be available from a variety of locations on the site.
The site also offers new pages with more detailed information. The Fan Center page contains links to all Pratt Athletics social media outlets. Inside Athletics provides information about recruiting for new athletes as well as current staff information. The home page features a master calendar outlining all home and away athletics competitions.
Additionally, information on Pratt Recreation is now accessible from the front page of the website. Instructor bios and ARC classes and schedules will enhance the content of the PrattFit page, and for students, an employment page outlines all available student staff positions and their job descriptions.
Pratt’s current athletics website, www.pratt.edu/athletics, will serve as a link to the new website. Designed by Pratt Athletics with the help of PrestoSports, the new site will be run entirely by Pratt Athletics & Recreation.
