Pratt's Bryan Shim named HVIAC Player of the Week

BROOKLYN, NY – Pratt Institute's Bryan Shim was named the Hudson Valley Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Player of the Week, the conference announced Tuesday.

Shim, a senior forward from Beverly Hills, Ca, took home top honors after having a hand in four goals, recording a hat trick while assisting on another, as the Cannoneers downed the Nittany Lions of Penn State – Schuylkill 8-3. Currently, Shim is tied for third in the HVIAC in scoring.

"Brian was away on exchange last year but has jumped right into an important role for us already," added coach Jonas Worth. "His maturity allows him to do things on the pitch that others haven't figured out but at the end of the day, he is a true baller!"

Shim and the rest of the Cannoneers return to action this Saturday, as they travel to Bronxville for a non-conference match up against the Sarah Lawrence Gryphons.
