Cannoneers fall in straight sets to Eagles

MORRISTOWN, NJ -- The Pratt Institute men's volleyball team fell in straight sets (25-13, 25-18, 25-21) to the College of St. Elizabeth Eagles on Thursday evening.

Sophomore Albi Marke collected nine kills along with a match-high 10 digs to lead the Cannoneers (2-6), while the Eagles (4-10) were paced by Chino Singalivo, who racked up 10 aces and 18 assists in the win.  

Pratt's Dean Liaw finished with a .273 attack percentage and recorded nine kills, giving him 100 on the season. Setter Kristopher Patton posted double-digits in assists for the seventh consecutive game, tallying 16.

While the Cannoneers outhit the Eagles for the match, St. Elizabeth's service game was the difference – connecting on 18 aces as compared to five for Pratt.  

UP NEXT -- The Cannoneers will travel to Hyde Park, NY on Saturday for a match against the Steels of Culinary Institute of America. First serve is scheduled for 11:00 a.m.
