MELVILLE, NY -- Pratt Institute men's and women's track competed at the St. Joseph's Winter Invitational on Saturday at St. Anthony's High School.
Max Baez led the Cannoneers men's team with a time of 5:06.16 in the one-mile run, good for 43rd out of 66, while Thomas Sternglass followed with a time of 5:10.67. In the 200-meter dash, Setshi Ford paced a trio of Pratt runners with a time of 28.72 seconds.
On the women's side, Diana Tsoy finished the 400-meter run in 1:13.48, good for second in her heat and 41st out of 49 overall. In the 800-meter run, she placed 48th of 66 at 2:53.69. Freshman Cory Marks came in 39th of 46 in the shot put with a distance of 9.14 meters.
Both teams return to competition on Friday at The Armory at the Artie O'Connor Invitational.
