Jakubowska in Plano Star Courier
BROOKLYN -- Two-time reigning Hudson Valley Intercollegiate Athleic Conference Player of the Week Agata Jakubowska was featured in Friday's Plano (TX) Star Courier after the freshman led Pratt to a 6-0 record and went 6-0 in No. 1 singles in her first month of college action.
In addition to her flawless singles record, Jakubowska is undefeated in No. 1 doubles action with teammate Sarah Conant, with whom the Dallas, TX native shared this week's HVIAC Player of the Week award.
"Since I've been in the Pratt community, everyone is closely knit," Jakubowska told the Star Courier, "people in my dorm, my tennis team, coaches and teachers."
