QUEENS -- Pratt Institute picked up a 9-0 win over Vaughn College Saturday afternooon in Hudson Valley Men's Athletic Conference men's tennis play, remaining in first place in the Hudson Valley standings.
Pratt's Moritz Petre led the way, earning an 8-3 first singles win over Greg Lobozza and teamed with Andrew Barkett for a 10-0 shutout of Lobozza and Kent Ogisu in top doubles play.
Cannoneers freshman Fan Mo bested Ogisu 10-3 in second singles, and Barkett knocked made quick work of Damian Gaona, 10-2.
Sophomore Keshav Ramaswami shut out Mathaus Lovell 10-0, then teamed with Michael Steiner to top Gaona and Lovell, 8-1, as the senior stayed perfect in doubles competition at 5-0 on the year.
Undefeated atop the HVMAC standings at 3-0 and 4-3 overall, Pratt takes on Webb tomorrow at 1:00 p.m. back at the USTA National Tennis Center.
