QUEENS -- Pratt finished its regular season at a perfect 5-0 in HVMAC play with a 6-3 win over local league rival St. Joseph's of Brooklyn on Tuesday night at the USTA National Training Center.
Freshman Fan Mo earned No. 1 singles and No. 1 doubles wins for the Cannoneers. He bested James Hanoply 10-0 and teamed with David Krawczyk for an 8-4 over Hanoply and Jeff Borowicz.
The doubles tandem of Keshav Ramaswami and Michael Steiner improved to 6-0 on the season, knocking off Vinny Rossi and Nolan Paar 8-0 in No. 2 doubles. In his final regular season match as a Cannoneer, Steiner made quick work of Dickson Tan, 10-1 in fourth singles, while Ramaswami earned a 10-2 win over Borowicz in second singles.
After capping the regular season at a perfect 5-0 and 6-3 overall, Pratt enters Saturday's HVMAC Tournament at the league's top seed, playing for the conference championship starting at 10:00 a.m. back at the USTA National Tennis Center.
