QUEENS -- Led again by junior Sarah Conant and freshman Agata Jakubowska, Pratt moved to 3-0 with a 7-2 win over Kean University at the USTA National Tennis Center in non-conference women's tennis play Sunday.
Pratt's tandem of Jakubowska and Conant improved to 3-0 in first doubles play, setting the tone with an 8-5 win. Jakubowska then improved to 3-0 in No. 1 singles action with a 6-1, 6-0 win over Debra Dees to lead the undefeated Cannoneers.
Pratt senior Whitney Mills picked up a pair of points, topping Christy Verdi 6-3, 6-3 in No. 4 singles and teaming with Gabriella Guerra for an 8-3 win over Erin Hendricks and Brianna Martin in second singles.
Senior Rose Wong earned her first singles win of 2013, working a a 6-3, 6-3 win over Zenzile Liggins in sixth singles.
Pratt returns to the court on Monday in non-conference play against Cooper Union.
