NEW ROCHELLE, NY -- Four Pratt players earned 10-0 victories in Pratt's 9-0 win over the College of New Rochelle in both teams' Hudson Valley Intercollegiate Athletic Conference opener.
Freshman Agata Jakubowska knocked off New Rochelle's Dianno Tozzo 10-0 in top singles, Rachel Caires crushed Shanique Roye 10-0 in No. 4 singles, fellow senior Whitney Mills defeated Violet Lisi 10-0 in No. 5 singles, and Carson Stanch improved to 2-0 on the year with a 10-0 win over Rasia Jadotte.
Jakubowska stays undefeated at 5-0, while Caires and Mills move to 4-0 on the year.
At 5-0 overall and 1-0 in HVIAC play, first-place Pratt returns to play on Tuesday at Vaughn College at 7:00 p.m. at the USTA National Tennis Center.
