Junior Sarah Conant teamed with sophomore Megan Basaldua for a 7-1 win in the Cannoneers 6-3 victory over the College of New Rochelle Sunday in HVIAC women's tennis play.
Conant and Basaluda knocked off Nancy Varachese and Samantha Gomez 7-1 in No. 1 doubles play, while Conant shut down Kyanna Bertrand 10-0 in No. 2 singles action.
Pratt's Carson Stanch, meanwhile, dusted off Nancy Vaurhrese 10-1 in No. 1 singels and teamed with sophomore Luija Zhu for an 8-0 win over Bernard and Jewel Davis in No. 2 doubles.
The Cannoneers improve to 5-2 on the season, while New Rochelle falls to 2-6.
