Men's tennis picks up third straight win, 9-0 over Webb

QUEENS -- Pratt Institute improved to 3-2 overall and 3-0 in Hudson Valley Intercollegiate Athletic Conference play with a 9-0 win over Webb Institute Thursday night at the USTA National Tennis Center.

Junior Keshav Ramaswami scored a 10-1 win in No. 3 singles and teamed with Fan Mo for an 8-1 win in No. 3 doubles play. In top singles, Sergio Yarritu bested Webb's Chris Licato 10-4, while John Imamoglu teamed with Moritz Petre for an 8-1 win over Licato and Evan Wingfield in No. 1 doubles.

Yarritu, meanwhile, paired with Eli Eskinazi to earn a 10-0 second doubles shutout, and Eskinzi topped Wingfield 10-0 in No. 2 singles.

Atop the HVIAC standing at 3-0, Pratt returns to the court in non-conference play on the road Friday at 3:00 p.m. in the team's last-ever meeting with Brooklyn rival NYU-Poly.
