KING'S POINT, NY -- Pratt Institute dropped a 5-4 decision to the United States Merchant Marine Academy Saturday in non-confernece men's tennis play.
Senior Moritz Petre earned victories in No. 2 singles and No. 1 doubles play, knocking off Derek Acuna 6-4, 6-1 and teaming with John Imamoglu for a 6-2 doubles win over Tanner Nestler and Gabriel Castillo. Keshav Ramaswami earned the Cannoneers other singles point, besting Christian Miller 6-2, 6-2.
At 3-4, Pratt returns to play Thursday evening at 7:30 against Sarah Lawrence College at the USTA National Tennis Center.
