QUEENS -- The Cannoneers returned to the .500 mark with a 7-2 win over Sarah Lawrence College in non-conference play Thursday night at the USTA National Tennis Center.
Pratt's Sergio Yarritu bested Elliot Warkus 10-5 in top singles and paired with Eli Eskenazi for an 8-2 win over Warkus and Adam Neufield. Moritz Petre earned a No. 2 singles victory over Neufield and teamed with Andrew Barkett to blank Andrew Thurman and Aidan O'Brien 8-0 in No. 2 doubles. Barkett, meanwhile, ousted O'Brien 10-2 in fourth singles.
At 4-4 and 3-0 in Hudson Valley Intercollegiate Athletic Conference play, Pratt takes on Sarah Lawrence in a HVIAC match Saturday morning at SLC.
