BROOKLYN -- Pratt Institute improved to 2-1 on the season with an 8-1 win over Baruch College on Saturday in non-conference women's tennis play at the ARC.
Sarah Conant earned two points for the Cannoneers, besting Jessica Zuhovich in No. 3 singles play and teamed with senior Carson Stanch for an 8-1 No. 2 doubles win. Sophomore Agata Jakubowska earned wins in top singles and No. 1 doubles play as the Cannoneers improved to 2-1.
Pratt freshman Megan Basaldua improved her early record to 3-0 with a 6-0, 6-0 win over Helen Lee.
The Cannoneers return to play on the road at St. Joseph's (LI) on Sunday, September 14 at 1:00 p.m.
