Jakubowska takes two, but Roadrunners gallop past women's tennis

MAHWAH, NJ -- Ramapo College knocked off the visiting Cannoneers 7-2 Sunday afternoon in non-conference women's tennis play.

Junior Agata Jakubowska improved to 4-0 on the season with a 5-7 (10-7) No. 1 singles win. She paired with Melanie Kania for an 8-6 No. 1 doubles win, but the Roadrunners won the remaining two doubles and five singles points in improving to 4-1.

The Cannoneers return to the court on Friday against Oneonta State at 6 p.m. in non-conference play before opening league play Saturday at noon against visiting College of New Rochelle.
