Katherine Thomsen netted 3 goals, leading the women's soccer team to victory over SUNY Maritime, 3-0.
Thomsen scored her first goal after Maritime got called for a handball in the box, giving Pratt the 1-0 lead just under 7 minutes into the game.
Ava Hunwick provided the assist to Thomsen on goal number two at the 30th minute, stretching the lead to 2-0. With the game winding down, Thomsen scored her third goal in the 81st minute to seal the victory and give her the hat trick.
Despite offensive pressure from SUNY Maritime, the Pratt defense and goalie
Emma Gaspari knotched the shut out in the 3-0 victory.
Pratt travels to Morristown, NJ on Sunday, September 11th to take on St. Elizabeth University. Kickoff is 12noon.
