NEW YORK – The Pratt Institute women's soccer team bypassed York College, 12-0, on Sunday afternoon at Randall's Island Park for their second straight shutout victory to improve their record to 2-2.
Junior Siena Sujitno extended her goal-scoring streak to a career-high four games, finding the back of the net five times while assisting on one other. She now has a Coast-to-Coast Athletic Conference leading 11 goals.
Playing in her first game of the season, Kat Thomsen entered as a reserve and also scored five times and also had one assist. Emma Pratt scored a brace for the second straight game and scoring the game's first tally in the 12th minute notched her second game-winning goal.
Sujitno scored four times in the first half sandwiched around Thomsen's first of ths season and the gold-and-black led 6-0 at the break. Sujitno opened the scoring in the second stanza before Thomsen scored four times in a span of 15 minutes.
Emma Gaspari stopped the lone shot on goal surrendered by the Cannoneer defense and picked up the win in a combined clean sheet.
