Serafino Danza was named assistant equestrian coach in September of 2019.

Danza holds a B.S. in Biology from Rutgers University and has a lifetime of experience around horses. 
 
Before joining Jamaica Bay Riding Academy as a trainer, Danza worked as a Veterinary Technician at New England Equine Practice. He has competed in multiple disciplines and at multiple levels during his 20+ years in the saddle, including, but not limited, to hunter/jumpers, equitation, dressage, reining, and Western pleasure, and he specializes in working and training young, green horses and bringing them up the levels. In addition to his position as one of Pratt Equestrian's Assistant Coaches, Danza is the Dressage Coach for the IEA Metropolitan Equestrian Team.
