Bri Nerud joins the Pratt Cross Country and Track & Field teams for her second year as assistant coach. Nerud primarily serves as the middle distance, hurdles, and sprints coach at Pratt. She specializes in hurdles and steeplechase, as was her primary event at the University of Oregon.
As a high school athlete she ran a national record in the 3,000-meter steeplechase and number two all-time in the 2,000-meter steeplechase. As an Oregon athlete, she was an All-American and posted a school record in the 3,000 meter steeplechase, along with qualifying and competing in the 2016 Olympic Trials. Nerud is also a graduate of the Pratt MFA creative writing program.
