Evan Ward was named the assistant coach for cross country and track & field at Pratt Institute in July 2019. 

A 2016 graduate from Leigh University with a Bachelors in Environmental Engineering, Ward was a four-year member of the cross country and track team. As captain his final two seasons, Ward assisted with organizing practices, race scheduling and team events.  Ward's been a competitive runner for the past ten years and is a member of the New Balance Garden State Track Club.

Outside of running, Ward is an Environmental Engineer for Matrix New World Engineering.  Ward is a local resident and resides in Brooklyn, NY.
