Tara Heatley

Tara Heatley was named Head Women's Soccer Coach in January of 2020.

Heatley comes to the Pratt Institute from Fairleigh Dickinson University in Teaneck, New Jersey where she was a four year member of the Division I soccer program. A midfielder, Heatley helped contribute to a Knights team that won 46 games over her four seasons including 16 in her sophomore year, a program record.

Besides playing at FDU, Heatley was also the social media coordinator for the women's soccer program. As the social media coordinator, she oversaw the soccer's Instagram account and promoted special game day events including Cancer Awareness Game, Senior Night, Breast Cancer Awareness Game and LBGT Rainbow Game. Heatley also worked on the athletic event staff at FDU as a student.

Following her playing career, Heatley became the facility coordinator at Sofive Soccer Center in Brooklyn. As facility coordinator, she is responsible for managing the building including 10 indoor soccer fields, equipment maintenance and scheduling. She also oversees four other properties owned by Sofive.

Heatley is excited for her first collegiate head coaching opportunity. "I am excited to take on the role of Head Coach of the Women's Soccer Program at Pratt Institution. It is a great Institution, and I am eager to hit the ground running and start training." 

Heatley is a 2018 graduate from Fairleigh Dickinson University with a 3.4 gpa and a bachelors degree in Sports Administration.
