BROOKLYN -- Pratt dropped its regular season finale at Medgar Evers, 3-1 Tuesday night in non-conference women's volleyball play.
Freshman Charlotte Burch led the Cannoneers offense with five kills on 18 attempts. Senior Nicole Garcia followed with four kills on 21 attempts for a team-best .143 hitting percentage, but the team managed just 15 kills over four games as Pratt dropped the final three sets in succession.
Defensively, Diana Lezama led the team with 15 digs and Melissa Au followed with 13 as Pratt dropped to 7-11 in its final regular season tune-up before the Hudson Valley Intercollegiate Athletic Confernece Tournament on Sunday.
As the No. 4 seed in the tournament, Pratt takes on top-seeded St. Joseph's (BK) College at the HVIAC Tournament on Sunday at 2:00 p.m. at the College of New Rochelle.
