GLEN COVE, NY -- Pratt jumped out to a 31-11 halftime lead and never looked back in a 62-29 win at Webb Institute Wednesday night in Long Island.
Forward Ari Grant paved the way with 15 points and a game-high 13 rebounds, adding five assists, five steals and a block in rounding out his third double-double in as many games. Freshman forward Tytus Millikan notched a double-double of his own with a game- and career-high 16 points to go along with 11 rebounds and six assists.
Leading by 20 at halftime, the Cannoneers hit 13-13 at the free throw stripe after intermission, never looking back in imporving to 2-1 on the season. Junior guard Mehmet Doganata chipped in with 12 points, three rebounds and three steals, and freshman guard Andrew Yaglenski added seven points and four steals in the win.
The Cannoneers return to play in Hudson Valley Intercollegiate Athletic Conference play on Wednesday, November 19 against St. Joseph's (BK) College.
