BROOKLYN -- Three Pratt scorers totaled 16 or more points, and the Cannoneers forced 55 Cooper Union turnovers in the team's 62-17 win over the Hawks Friday night in non-conference play at the ARC.
For the second straight night, guard Carol Cai came off the bench to lead Pratt in scoring, earning 17 points to go with eight steals, and fellow junior Anna Bryce tallied her second triple-double in her last two games against Cooper Union, totaling 17 points, 13 rebounds, 11 steals, and four assists.
Cannoneers center Amissa Epperson finished two steals shy of a triple-double, gathering a game-high 19 rebounds to go along with 16 points and eight steals.
For Cooper Union, Marianne Tymocz led the way with five points on 2-5 shooting, while fellow guard Arielle Mayourian added four points to go along with team-highs of nine rebounds and six steals.
Led by Epperson's 19, the Cannoneers won the battle of the boards 66-49. Bryce's triple-double is the second in her two seasons in the Black & Gold, the first coming in a February 8, 2014 win over Cooper Union in which the then-freshman totaled 20 points, 10 rebounds, 10 steals, and eight assists.
Pratt returns to play January 18 at 4:00 p.m. against King's (NY) College at the ARC.
