Game Recap: Women's Soccer |

Pratt falls to Fisher

NEW YORK, NY –  The Pratt Institute women's soccer team couldn't get it going offensively, and fell to the Falcons of Fisher College, 5-0, on Sunday afternoon at Randall's Island.

Fisher opened the scoring in the 13th minute, as Julia Schojan's shot following a long run beat Morgan Holub to give the visitors a 1-0 lead. Two minutes before half, Schojan struck again, taking a cross and finding the back of the net to double the Falcon lead at intermission.

In the second half, Pratt had several chances early, but a pair of Jen Klockner strike's just missed the target. The Falcons would hit for three more goals during an 11-minute stretch to end the game and come away with a 5-0 victory.

Following the setback, coach Jonas Worth discussed his team as they enter their toughest conference stretch of the season.

"With the week ahead of us, playing a conference game at 8:00 pm on Friday then turning around for another at 2:00 pm on Saturday, this team needs to be ready to put in the work. The turn around will be difficult, but I believe they are ready and willing to make those sacrifices."

Up Next: The Cannoneers return to the field this Friday for a conference game against the Lions of King's College. Kickoff is scheduled for 8:00 pm.
