NEW YORK -- Pratt Institure improved to 4-2 with a 3-1 (25-22, 20-25, 25-13, 25-15) road win over Cooper Union Saturday afternoon.
Freshman Dean Laiw led all players with 27 kills, also adding 13 digs. Senior Ari Grant delivered 10 kills, and Davd Cutler ran the offense with a career-high 43 set assists.
Liaw's 13 digs led the defense, and Andreas Haji-Georgi followed with 11 scoops.
At the net, Grant paced the way with three solo blocks, while fellow middle blocker Haven Gordon added two solo rejections.
Pratt controlled the serve, with Cutler throwing home four service aces and Haji-Georgi firing three more.
At 4-2, the Cannoneers travel to Yeshiva on Sunday to take on the host Maccabees and the Culinary Institute of America.
