KINGS POINT, NY – The Pratt Institute women's volleyball team was unable to edge the United States Merchant Marine Academy (USMMA) on Monday, falling to the Mariners 3-0.
The Cannoneers struggled to find an offensive rhythm, attacking at -.172 percentage for the match.
Marlena Todd led the Cannoneers (0-1) by tallying seven kills while defending a team-best seven digs. Freshman setter Alivia Senevoravong began her collegiate career by recording 12 assists. The Mariners (2-0) were paced by Dominque Pope's nine kills.
