BROOKLYN – Pratt Institute senior Anna Bryce was named the Hudson Valley Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Player of the Week, the conference announced Tuesday.
Bryce, a native of Troy, NY, claimed top honors after averaging 28.5 points, 12.5 rebounds, 7 assists, and 5.5 steals for the Cannoneers last week.
In an HVIAC game against rival Vaughn College, Bryce posted her second triple-double of the season, scoring a career-high 30, while grabbing 14 rebounds and dishing out 11 assists in the 76-38 victory.
For the season, Bryce averages a double-double of 16 points and 10.6 rebounds per contest. Also, her 5.8 assists per game are best in the conference.
Bryce and the rest of the Cannoneers will resume play tonight at 7:00 pm when they welcome the Gryphons of Sarah Lawrence College to the ARC.
