Down five points five minutes into the game, a pair of Miller three-pointers, coupled with a Sally Song layup, allowed Pratt to keep the score close, 13-10, after the first ten minutes.
Precise shooting and a stingy defense saw the Nittany Lions build a 13-point lead, 29-16, with under three minutes remaining until intermission. However, with clutch free throws and another Miller three with one second remaining, the Cannoneers concluded the first half on a 10-0 run trailing by three, 29-26, at the break.
