BROOKLYN, NY - The Pratt Institute's women's volleyball team (16-5, 3-0 HVIAC) rolled to a dominating three set win over Cooper Union on senior night, 25-11, 25-3, 25-20 on Friday evening.
Badesim Kubak (Istanbul, Turkey) led the Cannoneers with 12 assists and four service aces.
Amy Jia (Farmington, CT) added a season high seven service aces and added three assists while
Cori Glidden (Susquehanna, PA) finished with five kills.
Pratt finished the match with 27 service aces, a team high for the season. The Cannoneers also added 24 kills and 20 assists.
The second set featured Cooper Union scoring just three points, the lowest total Pratt has allowed in set this season.Â
Before the match, Kubak, Glidden and
Marlena Todd (Denville, NJ) were honored for senior night. The trio was presented with a framed picture and recognized for their dedication to the volleyball program over the past four seasons.
With the win, the Cannoneers extended its longhest win streak in program history to 11.
Pratt looks to continue its win streak on Sunday when it travels to Washington DC to take on Trinity Washington and Valley Forge.
