RIVERDALE, NY - The Pratt Institute's women's volleyball team (18-7, 3-0 HVIAC) dropped a pair of matches at the Mount Saint Vincent Tri-Match on Saturday afternoon.
In the first match of the day, Pratt's valiant comeback effort fell just short to Mount Saint Vincent, falling in five sets, 11-25, 14-25, 25-23, 29-27, 14-16.
Rose Moon (Santa Fe, NM) finished with a season high 19 digs and 18 kills.
Badesim Kubak (Istanbul, Turkey) added a season high 42 assists while
Paola Beniquez (Carolina, Puerto Rico) finished with 22 digs.
Shannon Corr (Copiague, NY) had a season high 16 kills.
The Cannoneers fell in the second match of the day to Oneonta, 3-0 (15-25, 15-25, 22-25). Moon finished with a match high 12 kills and nine digs.
Avery Toomes (Houston, TX) added 18 assists while Beniquez tallied 13 digs.
Pratt's program best 13 match win streak was snapped with the loss to Mount Saint Vincent.
Pratt returns to action on Thursday when it travels to Yeshiva University at 8 pm for its regular season finale.
