FARMINGDALE, N.Y. - March 30, 2019 - The Pratt Institute men's tennis team suffered a 9-0 setback against Farmingdale State on Saturday morning.
The Rams picked up their first win of the season, while the Cannoneers fell to 0-5.
In doubles action, the top two teams for Pratt both fell, by 8-3 and 8-0 decisions, as Andrew Hyun and Griffin Levine played at the top spot and Harry Huang and Jaeyoung Hwang represented the Cannoneers at No. 2.
In singles action, Hyun put together a gritty effort at the No. 1 spot as he dropped the opening set 7-5 before his opponent rallied with a score of 6-1 to complete the victory.
Up Next: Pratt Institute will take on Drew University in Madison, N.J. on Saturday, April 6. First serve is scheduled for 10:00 AM.
