BROOKLYN, NY - The Pratt Institute's men's soccer team (0-4-1) was outlated in a tight battle with the University of Valley Forge, 3-1 on Saturday morning.
Following an early goal by Valley Forge,
Thomas Aung (Yangon, Myanmar) put home hist first goal of the season off a corner kick to tie the match at one.
45 seconds into the second half, Valley Forge scored its second goal of the match to regain a 2-1 lead. With under 10 minutes remaining, Pratt had its best chance of the second half off a penalty kick but it was saved by the Patriots. Valley Forge added a late second half goal to take the contest, 3-1.
Carter Boliek (Raleigh, NC) finished with six saves in net.
The Cannoneers return to action on Sunday when it hosts the Webb Institute at 2 pm at Aviator Sports Center
