FLUSHING, NY - The Pratt Institute's women's tennis team (3-2) defeated Kean University for its third straight win, 5-4 on Saturday afternoon at the USTA.
Sophie Bischoff (Durham, NC) remained perfect in first singles, winning 6-1, 6-1 to improve to 5-0 on the year. Her and
Amanda Twu (Spring Lake, MI) picked up their third victory at first doubles, winning easily, 8-1. Twu also was victorious in her singles match in the second position, winning a close match, 6-3, 7-6.
Nastazja Cancellaro (Western Springs, IL) and
Lisa Fan (Guangdon, China) picked up wins in their singles matches to close out the win for Pratt.
The Cannoneers return to action on Saturday October 5 when it hosts New School at 12 pm.
