BROOKLYN, NY - The Pratt Institute's men's basketball team will play host to the College of Saint Elizabeth at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn on Monday at 8:30 am.
This will mark the first ever meeting between the Cannoneers and the Eagles as well as the first game Pratt will play at the Barclays Center.
The Cannoneers are on a two-game win streak as of 1/16 and hold a 7-7 record overall. The Eagles are 9-5 and won three of their last four contests.
Head Coach
Max Sass is excited for the opportunity for his team to play in such a storied arena. "Our program is extremely excited for the opportunity to play at the Barclays Center on Monday. As Pratt basketball continues to grow, this is the type of first-class experience we want to provide to our student-athletes now and in the future. Additionally, it's a wonderful chance to continue to enmesh our program into the culture of Brooklyn and our local neighborhoods."
The Barclays Center, a 19,000 seat venue, plays host to the Brooklyn Nets, NY Islanders, LIU-Brooklyn, various NCAA Division I basketball tournaments as well as several concerts throughout the year.
Doors to the game open at 8 am and wristbands will be required to enter the building on the Identogo Atlantic Entrance. There will be limited supply and given out on a first come first serve basis. Wristbands can be obtained free of charge at the door or from
Max Sass at msass@pratt.edu.
