BROOKLYN, NY - The Pratt Institute's men's basketball team (8-8) fell to the College of Saint Elizabeth, 72-52 at the Barclays Center on Monday morning.
Griffin Levine (Dallas, TX) finished with a team high 13 points.
King Turnbull (Houston, TX) added 10 points and nine rebounds while
Ace Bibbs (Philadelphia, PA) finished with 10 points and six rebounds.
Pratt held strong with the Eagles in the first half as it scored five straight points with three minutes remaining to get within 26-24. Over the final three minutes of the half, the Eagles scored seven of the final nine points to take a 33-26 lead into halftime.
After trailing by 22 in the second half, the Cannoneers outscored CSE by nine over a three minute span to get within 13. Despite the comeback, Pratt was unable to cut close the gap further, falling 72-52.
Pratt held CSE to to under 40% shooting from the floor and forced 19 turnovers.
Pratt returns to action on Saturday when it hosts Five Towns College at 3 pm.
