BROOKLYN, NY - The Pratt Institute's men's tennis team (0-1) fell in a tight matchup with the College of Saint Elizabeth, 5-4 on Saturday evening.
Andrew Hyun (Mill Creek, WA) and
Edward Smutharaks (Bangkok, Thiland) earned the win at first doubles, 8-3. Hyun also picked up the victory at first singles, 6-3, 6-1.
King Turnbull (Houston, TX) rolled to the win at third singles, 6-0, 6-0. At four singles,
Michael Kraiem (Brooklyn, NY) held on for a three set win, 4-6, 6-4, 10-4.
The Cannoneers return to action on March 14 when it hosts Bard College at the USTA.
