BROOKLYN, NY - The Pratt Institute's men's volleyball team (0-3) was edged in a matchup with neighboring St. Joseph's Brooklyn, 3-1 (11-25, 9-25, 26-24, 16-25) on Friday evening.
Devin Dzierba (Clarence, NY) led the way with season highs of 14 kills, eight service aces and four digs.
Daniel Hsu (Taipei, Taiwan) added a career high 16 assists and two service aces.
Kiefer Johnson (San Salvador, El Salvador) added six kills.
As a team, Pratt finished with 20 kills, 15 digs, 11 service aces, and five blocks, all season highs. The Cannoneers won the third set, 26-24, its first set win of the season.
The Cannoneers look for its first win of the season on Sunday when it travels to Sarah Lawrence for a 1 pm start.
