BROOKLYN, NY - The Pratt Institute's women's volleyball team (15-6) rolled to a sweep of Rutgers-Newark on Senior Night, 3-0 (25-9, 25-18, 25-20) on Thursday evening.
Josie Johnson led the way with 18 digs and seven kills. Â
Rose Moon added 10 kills and none digs while
Olivia Julich finished with nine kills and a game high three blocks.
In the first set, the Cannoneers went on an 11-0 run to end the set, its largest run of the season.
As a team, Pratt finished with 54 digs, 35 kills, 33 assists, and 12 service aces.
Prior to the match,
Madeline Markley and
Avery Toomes were honored with a framed photo for their contributions to the program over the last four years.
Pratt returns to action for its season finale on Sunday when it travels to Yeshiva University for a tri-match beginning at 11 am.
