BROOKLYN, NY - The Pratt Institute's women's basketball team (3-4) led the whole way in convincing 68-55 win over Hunter College on Tuesday evening.
Kylie Grant finished with a career high 28 points on 10-15 from the floor. Grant also added 10 rebounds and 4 assists.
Katy O'Connor recorded her third straight 20-20 game, finishing with 26 points and 22 rebound. Â
Natalie Graf added her second straight double-double, finishing with 10 points and 11 rebounds.
Pratt stormed out of the gate in the first quarter, scoring the first 21 points of the game. Hunter's first field goal came with two seconds remaining in the first quarter. Â Pratt outscored Hunter 21-2 in the first period, the lowest output for an opponent this season against Pratt for a quarter.
The Cannoneers defense was stellar the entire game, holding Hunter to 22.8% from the floor and 19.8% from beyond the arc and forced 15 turnovers.
Offensively, Pratt 36 points in the paint and 16 second chance points.
Pratt Returns to action on Saturday when it hosts Mount Saint Vincent at 12 pm.
