WILLIMANTIC, Conn. – The Pratt Institute men's soccer team suffered a 10-0 setback to Eastern Connecticut State University in a non-conference road test on Saturday afternoon.
The host Warriors (8-4-2) scored five minutes in and scored two quick goals in the 13th minute for a 3-0 lead and carried a five-goal advantage into the lockers. After two goals in the first five minutes of the second stanza, ECSU tacked on three more in the period.
Eastern Connecticut held a 48-1 shot advantage with Theo Goldman firing the lone shot for the Cannoneers. Dimitrios Papagiannakopoulos made 14 saves and Anil Pugh stopped eight shots in relief.
Pratt (1-10-2) travels to Maryland to face Coast-to-Coast Conference foe Salisbury University on Saturday, October 22 with a 1 p.m. kickoff.
