BROOKLYN, NY - The Pratt Institute's men's volleyball team (2-9, 2-4 CSAC) used a stellar game from
Jason Raymond to earn its second straight win, defeating the University of Valley Forge, 3-2 (21-25, 26-24, 28-26,17-25, 15-9) on Thursday evening.
Jason Raymond finished with a career high 22Â kills and 15Â digs.Â
Kiefer Johnson had a career high 21Â digs while
Akul Kasliwal added 11 kills and nine digs.
After dropping the first set 35-21, Pratt battled back in a tight second set, winning 26-24 to tie the match at one.
The the third set, down 21-15, Pratt stormed back to win seven of the next eight points to tie the game at 22. After going back and forth over the next eight points, Pratt earned the final two points of the set, winning 28-26 and taking a 2-1 advantage.Â
The fourth set was controlled by Valley Forge 25-17.
Pratt dominated the deciding set, leading throughout in route to the 15-9 win and the 3-2 match victory.
Pratt earned it's second straight conference win.
Pratt returns to action on Saturday when it travels to Cairn University for a tri-match beginning at 1 pm.
