BROOKLYN, NY - The Pratt Institute's women's tennis team (2-3) fell in a tight match with Hartwick College, 5-4 on Saturday afternoon.
Sophie Bischoff and
Carolina DePontes were victorious at first singles, winning 10-8. Â Bischoff also handled her first singles match in straight sets, 6-2, 6-4.
DePontes also won her singles match in thrilling fashion, winning 6-3, 6-7, 10-8.
In final point of the match for Pratt was won by
Moira Cunningham at fourth singles, winning 6-3, 6-1.
Pratt returns to action on Sunday when it hosts Kean University at the USTA at 12 pm.
