Women's Volleyball beat SUNY Canton in their final match of the North Country Classic on Saturday Morning.
First year
Emily Sontag led the offense with kills and added 5 aces. Sophomore
Olivia Julich and first year Anna Knoblach finished with 8 and 7 kills, respectively. Junior
Gabby Genduso led the team with 23 assists.Â
In the first set, after being down 19-18, the Cannoneers rallied for 7 straight points to secure the first set victory. In the second set, after 8 straight points, Pratt took a 22-17 point lead. But Canton would continue to battle.  After a timeout, the Roos scored 4 straight to get within one, but Pratt would go on to win the next three out four points to win the set. Canton started the fourth set with all the momentum, building a lead to 18-12, but would only muster 4 more points the rest of the way with Pratt winning the third set 25-22.Â
The Cannoneers are currently 3-2 on the season.Â
Pratt Women's Volleyball has a busy week, returning to the ARC to take on SUNY Purchase on Wednesday, September 14th and Brooklyn College on Thursday. Both matches have a 7pm start time. Â
