NEW YORK – The Pratt Institute women's soccer team saw seven different players score a goal as it cruised to an 11-0 victory over Medgar Evers College on Tuesday evening at Randall's Island.
Senior Amelie Stoddard scored four times to pace the attack and added an assist, while Siena Sujitno padded her Coast-to-Coast lead with a brace to reach the 20-goal mark.
Senior Ava Hunwick finished with a goal and improved on her C2C lead with her 11th assist. Emma Pratt and Kat Thomsen contributed a goal and an assist. Annabella Russell and Sarah Houston also chipped in a goal. Kayla Galvan and Anna Wilson each registered helpers.
Pratt (6-6-1) dominated the shorthanded Cougars (0-5) from the outset and scored three times in the opening 10 minutes with Stoddard opening the scoring and netting her first game-winner. Stoddard completed her hat trick by the 20-minute mark as the lead ballooned to 6-0.
Houston scored her first collegiate goal in the 37th minute to push the lead to 9-0 at the intermission. Sujitno and Thomsen scored two quick tallies in the second half to round out the scoring.
Pratt maintained a 33-0 advantage in shots with senior Mia Wong firing 11 shots and Stoddard registering nine. The Cannoneers also maintained a 9-0 edge in corners.
The Cannoneers wrap up the regular season on Sunday, October 29 traveling to Yeshiva University for a 4:30 p.m. kickoff at Overpeck Country Park.
