ASTON, Pa. — The Pratt Institute men's soccer team was handed a 6-0 defeat by Neumann University in an Atlantic East Conference road test on Wednesday afternoon.
The Knights (6-5-4, 3-0) scored just over two minutes into the contest scored again in the ninth minute with Alex Duopu accounting for both tallies. Duopu completed the natural hat trick in the 26th minute and defending AEC champions scored two minutes later for a 4-0 lead they took into the lockers.
Pratt (2-8-3, 1-2) was limited to three shots, two coming from Nicco Prada and and one from Griffin Benkovszky. Carter Tillman named five saves starting in goal and Anil Pugh stopped three shots and Dimitris Papagiannakopoulos saved one in a scoreless final 25 minutes of action.
The Cannoneers return home to host Immaculata University on Saturday, October 19 in an Atlantic East Conference match starting at 1:30 p.m. from Aviator Sports & Events Center.
