FREDERICKSBURG, Va. — The Pratt Institute men's tennis fell 5-0 to Salisbury University in the quarterfinals of the 2024 Coast-to-Coast Athletic Conference Men's Tennis Championship on Friday morning.
Despite the loss, the Cannoneers fall to 7-6 overall, still matching the program's single-season win record.
The No. 4-seeded Sea Gulls won all three matches at love and took the No. 4 singles and No. 6 singles matches in straight sets to advance to the semifinals against host and tournament top seed Mary Washington University.
Mikah Liu took two games off his opponent at No. 1 singles while Mehul Bhargava, Eagle Zhang and Calder Tillinghast each picked up a game in singles matches that went unfinished.
Pratt awaits a possible ECAC Championship selection before joining the Atlantic East Conference beginning in the 2024-25 academic year.
