THROGGS NECK, N.Y. — The Pratt Institute men's soccer team fell to SUNY Maritime College, 3-0, in a non-conference road test on Tuesday evening.
Pratt (0-3-1) hung with unbeaten Maritime (3-0-1) through the opening half that remained scoreless before conceding a goal just 16 seconds before the intermission. Both teams remained level 9-9 in shots in the half and Carter Tillman making three saves in goal.
The Privateers netted an insurance goal just over 12 minutes in the second stanza and added another in the 72nd minute for the final tally.
George Batska and Jude Fox recorded three shots each for the black-and-gold, while Bryan Hong-Dominguez added two as Maritime finished with a 16-12 shot advantage.
Pratt travels to Pennsylvania to face Arcadia University on Saturday, September 14 in a non-conference tilt starting at 3 p.m.
