MADISON, N.J. — The Pratt Institute men's soccer team wrapped up its 2025 season falling 2-0 to Saint Elizabeth University on Wednesday afternoon in an Atlantic East Conference matchup at Robert T. Shields Field.
Saint Elizabeth (4-6-4, 3-3-1) broke through in the 23rd minute as Derick Campoverde finished a pass from Yonatan Figueroa, then doubled the lead in the 51st when Zach Ahmed converted from Marvin Miranda.
Pratt (0-13-2, 0-6-1) put four shots on target and earned a corner in each half. Nicco Prada (New Hyde Park, N.Y.) forced an early save in the eighth minute, and Paxton Lyman (Berkeley, Calif.) followed with a low drive on frame a minute later. The black-and-gold pushed late as Omri Hadad (Ramat Gan, Israel) tested the keeper in the 60th and William Jung (Lake Forest, Calif.) put one on goal in the 90th.
Goalkeeper Dimitris Papagiannakopoulos (Athens, Greece) totaled five saves, including four before halftime to keep the Cannoneers within reach. He turned back early looks from Richard Montero and Bruce Santana and denied Ahmed late in the half. Fifth-year Anil Pugh (Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago) closed the final 25 minutes in net.
Hayden Pettit (Houston, Texas) and Taewan Kim (Yongin-si, South Korea) logged steady minutes in midfield, while Dylan Costa (Cresskill, N.J.), Griffin Benkovszky (Ashland, Va.) and Scott Lee (Guri, South Korea) provided fresh legs.
For the Eagles, Ahmed tallied with Miranda assisting, while Campoverde supplied the opener. Goalkeeper Jonathan Ramirez Delgado made four saves to secure the shutout.
Pratt finishes in eighth place in their second season in the league.Â
