LANCASTER, Pa. — Averaging 22.5 points per game and leading the Pratt Institute to a pair of conference victories last week, sophomore Cameron Windt has been selected as the Atlantic East Conference men's basketball Player of the Week.
It is the first men's basketball weekly award collected by a Cannoneer as Pratt plays its inaugural season in the Atlantic East Conference.
The sophomore guard shot 58 percenter overall and 60 percent from three-point land, making nine triples. He also averaged 8.0 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 2.0 steals a game.Â
In the win over Centenary on Wednesday, he paired his game-high 21 with 11 boards and six assists for his first collegiate double-double. He followed it up with a game-high 24 on 8-of-10 shooting and eight rebounds in the win over Marywood on Saturday.Â
Pratt finished the convincing week 2-0, trailing for just 17 seconds combined in both contests and building an average largest lead of 24 points.
Riding their two-game win streak, Pratt travels to Immaculata University on Wednesday, February 12 for a 7 p.m. road test.
